2. People who are willing to get off their a** to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually.

3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn Right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they?

5. When people say while watching a film, "did ya see that?" No Loser, I paid Rs 100 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor!

6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?"... Didn't give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7. When something is 'new and improved'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

8. When people say "life is short". What the hell??? Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever does!!! What can you do thats longer?

Kumble sent down 14 consecutive overs and became the first bowler to dismiss Brian Lara while bowling with a broken jaw. He was due to fly back to Bangalore the following day for surgery, and as he said, "At least I can now go home with the thought that I tried my best. "It was one of the bravest things I've seen on the field of play," said Viv Richards later. Batting at No. 7 (Ajay Ratra at No. 8 made a century), Kumble was hit by Merv Dillon. He spat out blood but batted on for another 20 minutes. The series was poised 1-1 and this was the fourth Test. India declared at 513 for 9. Lesser acts have become legends in the game. Colin Cowdrey's coming out with a broken hand against West Indies in 1963, for example. He didn't have to face a ball, as his partner saved the Test. But it is cited for bravery even ahead of Australian Rick McCosker's batting at No. 10 with a broken jaw, which contributed to his team's victory in the Centenary Test. Kumble's Test was drawn, West Indies declaring at 629 for 9. The match that is awaited with utmost anticipation is between India and Pakistan.I m going to describe my experience about a ind vs pak match which I consider one of the greatest test match played .I would also recommend all T-20 fans to watch this match to know the real excitement in watching a test match which is now a days consider boring .Let me here give my conception of test match thats "rahul and laxman batting through out a entire day to deny a win for Australia thats called a test match ".OK,lets come to the point .

Under the captaincy of Akram, Pakistan toured India in January 1999 for a three-Test series. The third Test of that series was later included in the inaugural Asian Test Championship.

The first Test, played at Chennai,It see-sawed for four days: bowled out for 238 on the first day, Pakistan struck back, restricting India to 254. Then Shahid Afridi threatened to take the match beyond India's pale with a violent 141 before Venkatesh Prasad engineered the most sensational of collapses, which sunk Pakistan from 275 for 4 to 286 all out. But at 82 for 5 before lunch on the fourth day, it all seemed over for India - barring Sachin Tendulkar, of course. With stubborn support from Nayan Mongia, Tendulkar chipped away at the target, initially nudging and pushing, and then with a flurry of dazzling strokes.

Mongia lost his head, and his wicket, when India were 53 short, but it was the dismissal of a Tendulkar, struggling with a back injury, that swung the match for Pakistan. They claimed the last four wickets for four runs and won by 12 runs ,tears was filled in my eyes and suddenly to my surprise the Chennai crowd gave the Pakistan team a standing ovation .That very moment i understood what is all about sports but ironically sachin didn't be a sports man that day because he didn't show up for the presentation ceremony ,he was also awarded the MOM later informed that he cried in his dressing room because he felt he could have stayed longer to take india home but what could i say poor man tried his best.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Is it real or is this only a subject of fantasies and overactive imaginations? Is it really possible to fall for someone right off the bat? It's an age-old question that still has yet to find a definitive answer. Love at first sight happens in the movies and in novels but can it happen in real life?

Loving someone at first sight means you're drawn to that person from the very first time you laid eyes on her. It's the attraction that pulls you toward that person, telling you to go out and learn more about her on a deeper level.

In Mani Rathnam's Alaipayuthey, Madhavan and Shalini also did the same after looking into each other's eyes. The problem is that these are all works of fiction.On the one hand, love at first sight could happen because the order of things dictate that you have to be attracted to someone first at some level, and develop an interest in her before you pursue deeper emotions such as love. Loving someone at first sight is possible because I'm a iving example sitting and writing this post but there has to be chemistry between two people for love to take place, unfortunately in my case reactions didn't come from both sides.

Australia v Pakistan 1981: First Test, Perth

Perhaps the most disturbing bust-up was between Australian fast bowler Dennis 'The Menace' Lillee and Pakistan batsman Javed Miandad, himself no shrinking violet.

Miandad was fighting to save a tense Test when he was obstructed by Lillee going for a quick single.

The batsman pushed Lillee who responded by kicking him in the leg.

Slater loses his temper after decision

Umpire Tony Crafter rushed in to separate Miandad, who was advancing on his opponent with his bat raised over his head, and Lillee, who had adopted a boxer's stance.

Under a new system, the Australian players themselves found Lillee guilty and imposed a small fine.

But he was later suspended for two one-day internationals.

Pakistan v England 1987: Second Test, Faisalabad

England captain Mike Gatting was involved in a famous row with Pakistan umpire Shakoor Rana.

Rana, standing at square leg, stopped play and accused Gatting of moving his field behind the batsman's back during the bowler's run up.

Gatting informed the umpire that the official was, in his opinion, overstepping the mark.

A long bout of face-to-face finger wagging and swearing ensued, which was beamed to television screens throughout the world.

Shakoor refused to play on until he received an apology from Gatting which he eventually got, but not before six hours of play were lost.

England v Sri Lanka 1999: One-day international, Adelaide

England's Darren Gough was involved in a more recent ugly incident against Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka captain Arjuna Ranatunga had already argued with umpires and led his players from the field in protest at a no-ball call against spinner Muttiah Muralitharan.

Gough aimed a head-butt during the clash

But the match had an explosive finish on resumption with Sri Lankan batsman Roshan Mahanama obstructing Darren Gough from picking up the ball to throw down the wicket.

Australia's Michael Slater lost his cool and became involved in a furious exchange of words with Indian batsman Rahul Dravid and the umpires.

A school or a college student is allowed to write exams only when he has some percentage of attendance say for example in Anna university you should have 40 percent attendance .you may wonder why i am mentioning this in this topic if u see many politicians don't attend the parliament or assemblies .examples govinda ,vinod kannana , dramendra list goes on if I mention all names I probably have to start a new blog .

I am asking the law makers to change the constituency to keep a limited percentage of attendance . if they don't satisfy remove them from their post or else they should not be allowed to contest the next time .

P.S :one minute in a parliament cost 26000 rupees and this stupid politicians have made it market place in our expense so please think and vote .

The Most Memorabale Part Of my life Has Come to an End .This 4 years was like a roller coaster ride I had many ups and downs .It was like yesterday i joined PSG TECH with everyone around me being strangers but today i hope at least i have made some strangers my good friends .i thank my friends who bared me for this 4 years.I also apologize to all who were hurt by my funny comments it was nothing personal. just for fun, hope u all forgive me for that .

The Cost Of Indian Election 2009

A survey conducted by Centre for Media Studies (CMS) pegs the estimated amount to be spent on the Lok Sabha elections 2009, which would determine the next government in the country, at about Rs 10,000 crore ($2 billion).

At a staggering Rs 10,000 crore, the Lok Sabha polls this summer would cost more than what Barack Obama and others spent in the US presidential race.

According to information available with the US Federal Election Commission, Obama and other candidates collectively spent close to $1.8 billion (nearly Rs 8,000 crore) in the 2007-08 Presidential Elections.

CMS survey does not include the cost of holding assembly polls in states like Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.

While the cost of US elections was spread over a year, India would see the massive spending in a matter of months.

The estimated Rs 10,000 crore cost for the Lok Sabha elections includes about one-fourth or Rs 2,500 crore being spent through "unofficial money" or the cash to be paid to voters by the candidates, the CMS survey says.

The latest presidential elections in the US has been billed as the most expensive ever, with cost doubling from the previous elections held in 2004.

Similarly, the cost of general elections in India, according to CMS, is also set to more than double this year from about Rs 4,500 crore in last Lok Sabha polls and would be
the highest in the history of the country.

According to the CMS study, the government spending would be about 20 per cent of the total expenses, including about Rs 1,300 crore by Election Commission and about Rs 700 crore to be spent by various central and state government agencies for purposes like photo identity cards, EVMs and polling booth.

Various political parties are expected to spend about Rs 1,650 crore from their party funds, which would include about Rs 1,000 crore from the two main parties -- Congress and BJP alone.

In addition to spending by parties, candidates of the national parties are estimated to put in Rs 4,350 crore, while those from the regional parties are expected to spend another Rs 1,000 crore.

As per the information available with the US Federal Election Commission, Obama topped the list of all Presidential candidates by spending over $760 million -- more than double the amount of about $358 million spent by his Republican rival John McCain.

Another Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton spent about $244 million.

According to another set of estimates for the US elections compiled by Washington-based think-tank Center for Responsive Politics, the overall cost of the 2007-08 US federal elections was $5.3 billion, including about $2.4 billion on the presidential race

india starts to decide in 36 hours -who should i vote my first vote

every news channels gave their verdict today mostly a UPA led government(not with pre polls only with post poll alliance ) or the third front with outside support of congress led by mayawati or pawar .

being this my first elections last time i missed it since i stayed in Coimbatore . i did complete analysis to who to vote .after a long discussions and thinking i decided not to vote ,it will not be democracy from my part but i do have reasons

first prime ministerial candidates
1.manmohan highly educated ,economist still a puppet only achievement being the N-deal .
2.adavani - strong leader (good for hindus ) but main acquist in babri masjid case , jinnah masccare case
3.mayawati -she says she is for poor but she is the highest income tax paying politician did any one ask where is her income from .

and the final one being big ,my lok sabha candidates are M.K.azhgiri and his opponent is current MP mohan(left) .i dont want to mention about the first and the next is a MP for 10 years but i dont think he did something .

but i do have a choice by going to the booths and putting vote called i dont want to vote to any one ie 49O but will it make a change, definetly no and it will only if all of us just stop complaining ,go and vote atleast show you are a responsible citizen now so all please go and vote .
